Eye Care

The skin round the eyes is much thinner than the skin on the rest of the face and is much less cushioned by fatty and supporting tissue.  It has a poorer blood supply and comes under particular stress from facial movements (about 10,000 blinks of the eyes each day).  The dry skin results in lines round the eyes with swelling and shadows also appearing there early on.  These all require preventable targeted treatment.  Ayer produces various eye care preparations especially for the very sensitive skin round the eyes.
